You can't leave footprints in the sands of time if you're sitting on your butt. And who wants to leave butt prints in the sands of time?

Our happenings lately........

Well the holidays are over and we are well into the new year. Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Our holidays were wonderful, fun as always I don't think you can not have fun on the holidays with kids around. We made the rounds like normal and had a great time. Here are a few pictures from Christmas.
Think he is happy or what?

Do you think she loves me?!?!?!?

Just having some good old fun...........

Grandpa and his very large remote.

Over the holiday we did some sledding and dumped a ton of money into the sleds I guess I should not complain at least we carry insurance on the sleds or it could of been a ton worse. A few days before Christmas Tyson went out for a ride and hit a tree with the sled he was for the most part okay just a little sore but the sled on the other hand was a total loss. The insurance company ended up just totalling the sled out. So we went and purchase another sled for him on the Wednesday after Christmas. On New Years Day we went out with the new sled for a ride and the engine went down on it at that point it was grrrrr well a little more than that there were some bad words said at that point you can only image. So Saturday we took it back to the place we bought it from to see what they wanted to do. We got their at 8:30 in the morning and by 12:00 we were out of there with a new engine in the sled come to find out the oil line was kinked and the engine was not getting enough oil. We have been out twice since then and it runs great I really, really want one now so that is our goal for this year to get me a new sled at the end of the year. Somewhere between all of this I damaged my sled as well but it's fix now. Boy oh boy good thing we love to sled so much because I think it eats all our money up!

Goals for 2010

I know we are almost done with January but I keep thinking about all the things that I want to accomplish this year. So I decided that I better write it down somewhere so I can have a list and can remember what I want to accomplish in 2010. This list has everything on it from organizing things, financial things, places I want to go. So here it goes........

1. Organize my food storage room and keep it organized.
2. Pay off the motorcycles.
3. Organize the craft room so I can find everything in there.
4. Take a family trip to Vegas...the kids would love all the lights and stuff!
5. Keep exercising and not give up even though my weight keeps going up....I'm just going to say it must be because I'm changing fat into muscle ;-)
6. Be a better blogger.
7. Purchase a new sled for me in December. # 2 and this go together.
8. Have a garden that I'm not embarrassed to have someone come into my backyard and look at. No weeds taking over this year hopefully!
9. Spent lots of time with family...........This is always a goal for me.
10. Go camping at least a few times this summer.
11. Go to the coast and go fish with my Mom and Mike. Hopefully Tyson can get some time off work so we can go.
12. Don't let all the little things get me worked up so much.
13. Make this the best year ever!

Things not to do with your tongue.......

Yep you read the title right here are 2 things never to do with your tongue!

#1 never stick your tongue on a cold frozen post!

#2 if for some reason you find yourself with your tongue stuck on a frozen post don't just ripe it off wait for someone with a cup of water to help you..........

Or

you may end up with a tongue like this................

Yep Clayton stuck his tongue on a frozen post and riped it off OUCH! Poor little guy it looked like hamburger but on the positive side he did learn a lesson.
